Our client are an exciting dynamic leading Telecommunication Solutions company and a stratigic partner of Vodafone. Having expereinced fanstatic growth there is a new opportunity for a IT Support / IT Field Service Engineer to join their team. 

IT Support Engineer / IT Field Service Engineer, to £30K  

Position: IT Support Engineer

Location: Borehamwood- Hertfordshire

Salary: to £30k Dependant on experience

Car: Use of pool car for client visits

ROLE:
we are currently seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable IT Support Engineer / IT Field Service Engineer to join our organisation to work with employees and customers in providing IT support and implementation.  

In addition to the support role, you will also have responsibility of updating our website shop and any relevant updates, and seeking out new IT converged voice and data solutions which we can support our customers with.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Diagnosing and resolving a wide range of IT issues for clients both on site and remotely.
b) Building, installing and configuring hardware and software solutions.
c) Providing assistance to the Account Managers in the development of appropriate solutions for their clients.
d) Performing preventative maintenance activities.
e) Keeping client records and relevant support documentation up to date.  

f) Mobile data set up via smartphone or blackberry enterprise or express packages  

g) regular update and maintenance of company website using generic update software  



ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Experience of supporting Windows Server 2003/2008, Small Business Server 2003/2008, Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 & knowledge Windows XP / VISTA / Windows 7.
b) Active Directory and Group Policy configurations.
c) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
d) Corporate Back-Up and Anti-Virus solutions.
e) You will have experience working as an IT Support Engineer / IT Field Service Engineer or in a role where you have provided IT support to multiple clients or multiple sites.
f) Already hold one or more recognised Microsoft qualifications or be working toward this goal.
g) A full clean UK driving licence.

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Virtualisation solutions based on Microsoft / VMware.
b) Networking solutions, TCP/IP, LAN and WAN technologies.
c) Already hold a Microsoft MCITP qualification or be close to completing the required exams to qualify.

You may have experience of the following: IT Support Engineer, Microsoft Certified Professional, MCP, MCSA, IT Field Service Engineer, Helpdesk Engineer, Systems Administrator, MCSE, MCDST, 2nd Line Support, Network Engineer, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, MCITP, Infrastructure Engineer, 3rd Line Support, IT Field Engineer etc
